This Spring, Amber won the Fan's Choice award for Canada's Favourite Screen Star!


























Born and raised in London, Ontario, Amber Marshall is now starting her seventh season of portraying Amy Fleming on Heartland. Amber trained at Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts, as well as The Original Kids Theatre Company in London and has appeared in numerous film and television productions, displaying a remarkable range and vulnerability.

Recently, Amber was voted Canada's Favourite Screen Star at the 2013 Canadian Screen Awards. Amber was also nominated for a Los Angeles based 'Young Artist Award,' for her work as the title character in The Elizabeth Smart Story, a movie-of-the-week based on the true story of the 2002 abduction of Utah teenager Elizabeth Smart. A strong actress, she has had regular roles in television series such as Super Rupert, The Power Strikers and Dark Oracle, and has guest appeared on different series, including Twice in a Lifetime and Doc.

She has also played the daughter to Rob Lowe in a TV Classic Christmas tale called, "Christmas Shoes." To add to her Christmas TV Movie collection, Amber starred in Heartland’s Christmas Movie, titled; "A Heartland Christmas."

A former veterinary assistant who is passionate about all animals, Amber has been around horses as long as she can remember. She has been riding since a very young age and says that the two things she loves the most - acting and horses - have come together to create this dream role of Amy on the Heartland series.

As Heartland films in Alberta, Amber has made a home for herself on a small ranch outside of Calgary where she is surrounded by her many animals, including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and even peacocks. To see some of Amber’s animals check out the “My Pets” tab.
